Johnny Ramone tribute

THE ROCKING DEAD: The tenth annual Johnny Ramone Tribute, set for 8/24, will once again be held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Johnny’s final resting place. This year's event will be presented by Johnny’s widow Linda and hosted by his great friend Rob Zombie, who’ll present an outdoor screening under the stars of Zombie's film The Devil's Rejects. For the all-star jam at the cemetery’s Masonic Lodge, Zombie will be joined by Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses) plus “very special surprise guests for some Ramones hits and punk rock classics.” Fred Armisen (Portlandia, SNL) will be there in character as punk-rocker Ian Rubbish, and Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett's collection of horror-movie memorabilia will also be on display.
