Marni Halpern made VP Pop Promo, RAL

RED ALERT: Marni Halpern has been tapped as VP Pop Promo for RED Associated Labels (RAL), announced EVP/GM Tom Carrabba, to whom she'll report. The NYC-based Halpern was recently VP Pop at Epic. Carrabba said RAL "will benefit greatly from Marni's wealth of experience" and called her "a consummate executive." For her part, Halpern counted herself "thrilled" and thanked Carrabba, RED prexy Bob Morelli and fellow Pop VP Bob Weil, noting the latter "is going to be a great partner. Third time is a charm for me over here at Sony Music, and I look forward to helping them break more artists within RAL." Halpern then said 10 "hey buddies" into a mirror, her standard vocal warm-up.
