TEA & SYMPATHY: The footprints of Michael Jackson’s Xscape and The Black Keys’ Turn Blue, which were locked in a back-and-forth battle for #1 all week, are all over the latest frontline and TEA marketshare scorecards. In the former competition, Warner Bros. grabbed the top spot because of the additional lift the label got from the Jason Derulo and Blake Shelton albums. WBR’s trifecta was just enough to best Republic, which had two albums in the Top 10, four in the Top 20 and six in the Top 50, and Epic, which got an additional 7.5k from Future and 3k+ from KONGOS. In the TEA battle, Republic got enough of a boost from Ariana Grande’s chart-topping smash “Problem,” which moved 248k digi-units, to win the week. (5/22a)
