Facebook audio recognition

IT HEARS YOU WHEN YOU'RE STREAMING: Facebook is launching a new audio recognition feature, which looks strikingly similar to Shazam. While updating their status, users will notice a moving audio icon that visualizes the identifying process of the Apple iOS or Android device's mic. If a match is found, the user can share the song (with the option of a 3o sec clip via Spotify, Rdio or Deezer), movie title or TV episode title with their friends, as a part of their "feeling and activity" posts. The company has yet to announce the feature that watches you through the front camera until you start changing and sends your nudes to preferred contacts for you, but the future is bright. (5/22p)
