ADD ACM: Carrie Underwood co-wrote a song especially for tonight's CBS special ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops, about which more above. "Keep Us Safe" will debut during the broadcast (at 9pm ET/PT) and be made available for download simultaneously, with proceeds benefiting ACM Lifting Lives; the Academy's philanthropic arm provides music therapy, education, disaster relief and more. Veterans in particular benefit from the nonprofit's music-therapy programs in addressing PTSD and other traumas.
