SKYPERBOLE: Thanks to a new partnership between Live Nation's House of Blues Entertainment and Skype that will enable fans to communicate directly with up-and-coming acts via IM chats, Skype Video Calls and Video Messages. Fans will be able to submit questions to bands, and a select few will join in Group IM chats with program artists. "Ones to Watch With Skype" will also set up such virtual confabs between bands; one such transcontinental convo took place recently between Walk Off the Earth and The Hives. Attempts to Skype with my Mom, however, will continue to be unproductive and involve lots of yelling. (2/6a)
