Bey-Jay to open Grammys

GRAMMYS—BREAKING NEWS: About that “Mr. and Mrs. Carter” moment we’ve been talking about for the last month, sources inside the Recording Academy confide that Beyoncé and Jay Z will open the show with a performance of “Drunk in Love,” the consensus pick to click from her self-titled album. While the Academy has not copped to this coup, the org did issue another release this morning announcing the additions of Madonna (see next item) and Billie Joe Armstrong with Miranda Lambert (rather than Norah Jones, interestingly) in a tribute to Phil Everly, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Juicy J. The newly named presenters are Steve Coogan, Jeremy Renner, Julia Roberts and current nominee Charlie Wilson. (1/24a)
