Kongos

POMO PLAYERS: It looks like L.A. Reid’s Epic Records will be continuing their recent hot streak by signing fast-breaking indie rockers Kongos, whose single “Come With Me Now” (on the band’s own Tokoloshe Records) is taking off at alternative radio in major markets nationwide after first being discovered by KTCL Denver’s Program Director, Nerf. More details to come on this fast-moving hit, which is also causing quite a stir in the publishing ranks. (1/20a)
