Rand Hoffman exits IGA
A RAND NEW DAY: Rand Hoffman, the longtime head of business and legal affairs at IGA—and an integral part of Jimmy Iovine’s inner circle for quite some time—has unexpectedly left the post he’s held since 1999. No word as to why he's leaving or where he may be going. Susan Hilderley is now acting head of the department. In a possibly related move, former IGA Vice Chairman David Cohen is said to be coming back in an as yet unspecified official capacity. Cohen has been consulting since his retirement in 2009; since then he’s been playing in celebrity pro-am golf tournaments and is known for his excellent short game. (1/9a)
