iTUNES DISPATCH: Adding five new songs and three videos to the 10 weekly tracks he delivered to fans in the preceding months, Justin Bieber seized the #1 spot on the iTunes album chart yesterday with his full-length set Journals, leaping into stockings nationwide (and we mean that figuratively, in this case). Holiday titles from Pentatonix, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Buble remain jolly. Beyoncé’s visual album returned to the top spot today, while the availability of individual tracks (the album was unlocked on 12/20) has driven single “Drunk in Love”—a duet with hubby Jay Z—into the Top 10 on the singles side. Speaking of singles, Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” has galloped into the race, in a field crowded with tenacious competitors like Pitbull, A Great Big World, OneRepublic, Eminem, Passenger, Imagine Dragons, One Direction and Lorde.
