iTUNES CHARTS: With four of the Top 5 albums in Pearl Jam, Lorde, the Avett Brothers and Drake, Republic can celebrate a little victory this morning in a year that’s been full of them. RCA has a pair in Miley Cyrus and Gavin DeGraw, while the indie sector has three in The Head and the Heart (Sub Pop), backwards-baseball cap-wearing country dude Chace Rice (Jack Daniels) and Paul McCartney (Hear Music/Concord). The remaining slot is occupied by the burgeoning pre-order for the third album from young Columbia superstars One Direction. The lone newcomer to the singles Top 10 is another indie act—PassengerNettwerk’s 21st century version of Al Stewart. (10/18a)
