HANGIN’ AT THE HANGAR: This Saturday (10/12) at 7 PM, the T.J. Martell Foundation will host the third annual Artworks for the Cure awards dinner at the Barker Hangar in the Santa Monica Airport. This year’s Spirit of Excellence Award honorees are Spotify CEO and founder Daniel Ek, Atom Factory founder/CEO Troy Carter, UMG President of Global Digital Business Rob Wells and restaurateur Catherine An. It wouldn’t be a party without Clive Davis, of course, and he’ll be on hand to regale attendees with tales of his exploits in the music biz. Colbie Caillat will perform and Mark Steines (Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family) will host the awards dinner, which will be the centerpiece of a three-day weekend event at Barker Hangar featuring a contemporary-art exhibition, auction and sale. Click here to purchase tickets for the awards dinner, Friday’s Meet the Artist reception and/or Sunday’s art show and auction. (10/7p)
