Nissan's Apple/VEVO plays

ACTUAL MOBILE NEWS: As we were just telling you in our story about iTunes Radio, Nissan today announced a partnership with Apple to integrate the streaming service into its 2014 Nissan Rogue compact SUV, Versa Note and LEAF vehicles. The whole Apple iOS7 mobile operating system will later be integrated into the Rogue, enabling groovy functions such as Siri and Apple Maps. Well, Nissan's got more music-relevant news: A pact with VEVO to "re-imagine" big hit songs with cover versions and videos emphasizing the life-enhancing fun made possible by the Versa Note. The first entry in the "Nissan Tracks" program is Skylar Grey's cover of the Daft Punk smash "Get Lucky," seen here. Stand by for more. (9/24p)
