LIGHT SHOW: At last night’s City of Hope Spirit of Life Gala in Playa Vista, honoree and CAA Head of Music/Managing Partner Rob Light is greeted by featured performer Stevie Wonder. “This is truly an honor, Mr. Gordy,” proclaimed Wonder, who regaled the 1,200 guests at the “retro resort”-themed event with renditions of hits like “Superstition,” “Signed, Sealed & Delivered” and “Isn’t She Lovely.” Other celeb attendees included Randy Jackson, Tim Robbins, Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson, NSYNC’s JC Chasez, Michael Bolton, Steve Perry of Journey and Jesse McCartney. Industry folks spotted in the crowd, meanwhile, included Lucian Grainge, Irving Azoff and Michael Rapino. Light was presented with the Spirit of Life Award by his kids. The event raised $6 million, which will go to care and research in the fight against cancer and other diseases. (9/20p)
