A DIFFERENT DRUMMER: A healthy shot of new blood has been injected into the 2013 CMA Awards, whose nominations were announced this morning. Among the indications of newfound inclusivity among the country community are the appearances of such nontraditional artists as Kacey Musgraves (tied with Taylor Swift—hardly trad herself—with a field-topping six noms), The Civil Wars (up for Vocal Duo), Nelly (featured on the remix of Florida Georgia Line’s crossover smash “Cruise”) and Bob Dylan (who gets a co-write credit with Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show on the Darius Rucker hit "Wagon Wheel"). Swift will be going for her third Entertainer of the Year award, while Red is up for Album of the Year, where it’ll be pitted against Carrie Underwood's Blown Away, Blake Shelton's Based on a True Story, Little Big Town's Tornado and Musgraves' Same Trailer Different Park. Yo-haw. (9/10a)
