iTUNES CHARTS: Don’t look now, but Republic appears to have yet another hit on its hands with Ariana Grande. The Nick starlet has powered through a phalanx of $6.99 albums from established acts to snag the top perch on the album chart this morning. Nine Inch Nails (Columbia) and Bastille (Virgin) make it a trifecta of debuts at the top of the big board. But five $6.99 LPs remain in the Top 10, led by Justin Timberlake and including the 2012 LP from his RCA labelmate P!nk. On the singles side, Katy Perry has held onto the top slot despite the appearance of a core-pleasing new cut from the mighty Eminem, followed by a pair of upstarts in Avicii and Lorde, while Miley Cyrus is the lone double dipper. Interestingly, the top four labels in new-release marketshare YTD—Republic, RCA, Columbia and IGA, collectively account for 14 of the 20 titles shown above. (9/3a)
