Voice finale

NIGHT MOVES: Bruno Mars left everything on the court last night… Oh wait, that was LeBron James. But Bruno did indeed let it all hang out on NBC’s finale of The Voice, which was up against what turned out to be an epic Game 6 of the NBA Finals on ABC. Fronting a big band in matching red outfits, the diminutive pop star was in full-on retro mode in his typically dynamic perf of “Treasure,” evoking the soul greats of yesteryear while trying to move more units. But his was just one of the guest-star turns on the show, as the network pulled out all the stops to grab eyeballs, wheeling out present –day chart occupants in the Florida Georgia Line, OneRepublic and Hunter Hayes, along with a pair of legends in Cher and Bob Seger—whose grizzled presence greatly enhanced finalists the Swon Brothers’ cover of Night Moves,” which received a standing O from the coaches. Oh, and the winner of the Republic contract turned out to be big-voiced teen Danielle Bradbery, who outpointed the Swon siblings and the bespectacled Michelle Chamuel, making it a three-peat for Blake Shelton. He’ll be back in the fall, along with Adam Levine and the returning Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, as the nation bids adieu to mono-named replacement coaches Shakira and Usher. Naturally, all three finalists have songs in the iTunes Top 10, sharing the real estate with "Treasure." (6/19a)
