iTUNES CHARTS: Last weekend’s SNL appearance has given The Lumineers the expected bump in momentum, putting the album right behind next week’s #1, the debuting Gary Allan. And while Les Miz has slipped out of the Top 10, the Pitch Perfect soundtrack is holding strong at #3, in one of January’s surprise breakthroughs. You’ll note the appearance of another soundtrack as well: the T Bone Burnett-curated cast album from the ABC series Nashville. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, meanwhile, are holding firm to the top singles slot, while their debut album has now cracked the Top 10. They may get a challenge from the hip-hop establishment, Lil Wayne getting a boost from Future and Drake on a track variously titled “Love Me,” “Bitches Love Me” and “Good Kush and Alcohol” (vote for your favorite). Otherwise, now that the initial frenzy over the return of Justin Timberlake has dissipated, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of legs “Suit & Tie” has, so to speak. That’s all, folks. Enjoy the Pro Bowl…oh, and SNL, featuring Adam Levine and Kendrick Lamar. (1/25a)
