Tony Monte food show

THE JOY OF THE DOGGY BAG: Former RCA, Capitol and S.I.N. exec Tony Monte has created and executive produced the celebrity food show Taste Makers, premiering this Saturday on The CW’s New York outlet PIX 11, whose Lisa Mateo serves as host. The series features celebrity interviews combined with a reveal of the restaurants they frequent for their favorite meals. The chef originating their dish recreates it in a “Recipe Segment.” In an unorthodox twist, the show will also feature a “Doggy Bag” segment in which in-house executive chef rescues food brought home from restaurants. Among the celebs booked for the series are Danny Aiello, Jennifer Esposito, Wyclef Jean, Boomer Esiason and his radio partner Craig Carton, medium John Edward, Sukanya Krishnan and Jerry Springer—in all, exactly the kind of people you’d wanna have dinner with.
