Teaser for Coldplay Live 2012

TOUR DE FORCE: Here’s a teaser for Coldplay’s Live 2012, coming from Capitol on Nov. 20, and presumably their final release for EMI. The band’s first hybrid concert film/live album in nine years documents the Mylo Xyloto world tour, which has been seen by more than 3 million people since it began in June 2011. “Over the years, our crowd has become more and more a part of the concert itself,” said Chris Martin. “They're loud, diverse, full of soul, and make the songs sound much better than we can on our own. We wanted to try to bottle the incredible feeling that they give us, and hence our concert film.” Live 2012 will have three physical configurations: DVD/CD, CD/DVD (there’s a difference?) and Blu-ray. You can pre-order it from Amazon or the Coldplay Music Store, where it's available with a hand-numbered lithograph poster. EPIX will premiere the tour film in the U.S. on Nov. 17, online at EpixHD.com and as an app playable on smartphones, Xbox, Roku, etc. (9/28a)
