SPERANDEO FLIES AT DANGERBIRD: Jenni Sperandeo has been promoted to President of indie label Dangerbird Records and Dangerbird Publishing by co-founder Peter Walker, who announced the departures of the company’s other co-founder Jeff Castelaz and GM Matt Solodky. Since joining the company in 2010 as Head of Promotion, Sperandeo has been instrumental in the success of Fitz and the Tantrums and Silversun Pickups, while guiding new releases by Minus the Bear and Sea Wolf. Dangerbird Records, Publishing and their affiliated recording studio were founded in 2004 by Walker and Castelaz, who will now focus on his renamed Cast Management roster with Solodky, including clients Dropkick Murphys and Eagles of Death Metal, along with record producers Tony Hoffer, Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Jacquire King.
