Clive autobiography

GOT CLIVE IF YOU WANT IT: Simon & Schuster will release the belated follow-up to Clive Davis’ bestseller Clive: Inside The Record Business next February. S&S reportedly won a spirited bidding war for the tome, which will cover the legendary record man’s century and a half in the biz, which he invented. His Cliveness has spent the last two years regaling high-end music journo Anthony DeCurtis with the raw material for his autobiography. We’re particularly eager to read Clive’s recollection of the day our own Bud Scoppa gave him Air Supply’s Australian single “Lost in Love,” thus changing the course of pop history.
