Hutton Joins Primary Wave

HUTTON WAVES HELLO: Noted music manager Stephen Hutton has joined Primary Wave’s talent management division. The founder of Uppercut Management has been a major force in the rock and pop music worlds, guiding such artists’ careers as Kid Rock, Big & Rich’s Big Kenny, Better Than Ezra, The Heavy, Kill Hannah, All That Remains and Dom, among others. He will continue to look after his roster of writers and producers, who have yielded several #1 singles in the rock, pop and country genres. Primary Wave recently opened a new office in the U.K. headed by Clive Black, as well as bringing in EDM expert Hosh Gureli. “Rock music is the core of our music publishing catalogs and it’s exciting to bring in Steve on the management team to help discover the current, rising rock stars and continue to grow our talent management division,” states the company’s Founder/CEO Larry Mestel. “And now I get to drink beer with Kid Rock.” (8/27p)
