Victor Upped at IDJMG

TO VICTOR GO SPOILS: Publicity vet Melissa Victor has been upped to VP Media and Artist Relations for Island Def Jam Music Group by EVP Media and Artist Relations Laura Swanson, to whom she’ll report. Victor will handle Media, Publicity and Artist Relations initiatives for designated artists on IDJMG’s roster, including Justin Bieber, The Wanted, Ludacris and Q-Tip, among others. These duties include exposure on TV, the Internet and print media. Victor was previously Sr. Director, Media and Artist Relations for label since joining in 2009. Prior to that, she spent four years as Director, Publicity and Artist Relations, for Virgin Records. Victor began her career in 2001 as a Publicity Assistant for Interscope Records. After two years, she moved to Arista Records before being appointed publicity coordinator for the J Records/Jive Records division of Sony BMG. (8/20p)
