Daughter Featured on MySpace Program

MAKE MYSPACE FOR DAUGHTER: Glassnote’s latest discovery, U.K. acoustic folk group Daughter, will be the featured artists on Myspace’s original One-Two-Watch series beginning tonight. The episode (embedded below) covers the young trio’s trip to Texas in which they discuss the origin of their sound over some home-cooked BBQ. The group, whose EP, The Wild Youth, came out last March, was discovered by Myspace lead curator and music supervisor Scott Vener while surfing the web. "Elena Tonra’s inner-voice makes perfect sense to me," he says. "After five minutes, I felt like I knew more about her than most of my friends.” (5/31p)
