Summer Mixtape Extravaganza

TRAIL MIX: Live Nation has just announced the Summer Mixtape Festival, a two-day pop music extravaganza to be held at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA, on August 17 and 18. The dates include the only U.S. performance of the year for New Kids on the Block (along with their NKOTBSB offshoot featuring members of the Backstreet Boys) as well as Kelly Clarkson, The Fray, LL Cool J, The Wanted, Steel Panther and DJ Pauly D, among many others to be announced. The festival website promises fans "a pampered weekend of music, food, spa treatments, massages and late-night post concert parties with the talent.” Rumors that NSYNC will reunite for a surprise set with a Justin Timberlake hologram went unconfirmed at press time.
