Jampol JAMS at METal

JAMMING AT METAL: JAM’s Jeff Jampol, who represents the estates of Jim Morrison, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin, Rick James and Peter Tosh, as well as The Doors, will speak at this weekend’s METal International Conference in Santa Monica, CA. Aside from his favorite subject—himself—Jampol will hold forth on “The Nexus—Serving Pop Culture Brands,” an analysis of the connection “between art and commerce, artists and brands, legacy and the future and mass and niche/social media.” The talk will take place Saturday (4/14) at 9:30 a.m. at Bergamot Station, Bldg. 1 (2519 Michigan Ave.). Admission is $35 for METal members and $45 for non-members, including breakfast. (4/10p)
