City of Hope's Taste is $400k

HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL: The City of Hope’s “Taste of Hope Event” held recently at the Tribeca Rooftop in N.Y. raised $400k for research into cancer care. On hand to make sure none of those funds goes into their wardrobes are (l-r) Executive Committee members Richard Palmese, along with wife Lana, Island Def Jam head Steve Bartels and Clear Channel's Alyssa Pollack. The rest of the Committee includes WB's promo domo Peter Gray, RCA heavy Tom Corson, Epic chief L.A. Reid and Bruce Gearhart. City of Hope holds its big annual bash June 12 in L.A., where Clear Channel honcho Bob Pittman will be the honoree. (4/5p)
