Houston Had a Problem

HOUSTON HAD A PROBLEM: According to TMZ.com, Whitney Houston was found by her stylist, hairdresser and two bodyguards, lying face down under water and feet up in a bathtub in her Beverly Hilton room. The two bodyguards failed to revive her by the time the paramedics arrived. The gossip site is also reporting Houston had a prescription for Xanax and may have taken some along with alcohol before her scheduled appearance at that evening's Clive Davis party at the hotel. Her cause of death will await a toxicology report and autopsy from the L.A. coroner's office, which could take up to six weeks. The N.Y. Post is now reporting that daughter Bobbi Kristina has been rushed to an L.A.-area hospital this morning in a "grief-stricken state," for unspecified reasons. Meanwhile, VH1 will air a news special tomorrow at 9:30 p.m., Death of a Diva, as well as a Whitney A-Z video tribute on Tuesday (2/14) at 12 noon and 8 p.m., while Lifetime has scheduled a special showing of her 1992 movie, The Bodyguard, tomorrow at 8 p.m. (ET).
