FACEBOOK THE MUSIC: Facebook will unveil a media platform that will allow people to share their favorite music, TV shows and movies at its F8 developers’ conference in San Francisco on Thursday (9/22), according to the N.Y. Times. The new platform will introduce music services like Spotify (which is already linked to Facebook) and Rhapsody to vast new audiences. Facebook reportedly has agreements in place with several media companies, including Spotify and Rhapsody, along with Rdio, MOG and the French company Deezer, as well as VEVO, to share content.
