Geli Leaves EMI

ONE OF THE BOYS: Angelica Cob-Baehler, EVP of Media & Creative Services, is leaving EMI, EVP/GM Greg Thompson revealed this morning in an internal memo. “We’ll be making an announcement on her leaving date shortly,” he wrote. “ Angelica joined EMI in 2006, and has played an important role in the teams supporting many of our fantastic artists, including Katy Perry, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Amos Lee, David Guetta, Tinie Tempah, KT Tunstall and A Fine Frenzy. After five years with EMI, she's leaving to take a great new role, and she departs with all our best wishes for the future. Happily, Geli’s greatest achievement during her time with EMI is the incredible team that she has built. This team, which handles our artwork, grassroots marketing, video production, publicity and creative for our artists, is second-to-none. It's this group that's helped The Decemberists and Amos Lee to the top of the album charts this year, that's been integral to helping Katy score five #1s from Teenage Dream, and that so successfully launched the new Guetta album in the last week.” (9/7p)
