Caleb bails in mid-show

KING-SIZED ISSUES? Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill abruptly bailed in mid-show Friday night at Dallas’ Gexa Energy Pavillion, taking the crowd and his bandmates by surprise, E! Online reported. "My voice is completely 100-percent wrong, I'm sorry," he told the audience. "I'm about to fall down here because I'm so goddamn hot. I'm gonna go backstage for a second. I'm gonna vomit, I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out here and I'm gonna play three more songs." But Caleb didn't return, and bass player/kid brother Jared apologized to the crowd, saying "I know you guys fucking hate us. It's really not our fault. We will be back as soon as possible. Fucking hate Caleb, not us." Later, Jared tweeted that "there are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be address," and "I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade." The next night’s scheduled performance in Houston was canceled, but a makeup show in Dallas show has already been nailed down for Sept. 22. (8/1a)
