Welch Leaves Walmart

WELCH LEAVING WALMART: Tom Welch, who has worked for Walmart as Sr. Buyer of Music for some years now, will be stepping down in August. Welch had been working out of WM’s Bay Area offices, having came up in the dot com division. WM is said to be moving the position back to their Bentonville, AR, HQ and the well-liked Welch has family obligations that will keep him out west. Taking over for Welch will be Tiffany Van Laar, who currently works in the video division under Jeff Moss. (6/17p)
