IDOL KEEPS ROLLING: American Idol's top 3 performance show topped last night’s ratings, with a 7% rise in the 18-49 demographic and 23% rise in total viewers from last year. The Fox franchise averaged 23 million total viewers and a 7.2 rating in the 18-49 demo, according to preliminary numbers. The show, up slightly from last week, easily gave Fox the Wednesday win in both categories. Last year’s telecast drew a total of 18.7 million viewers. (5/19p)
