National Jukebox draws a crowd

HIS MASTER’S VOICE—NOW STREAMING: The new National Jukebox website of historic recordings that went live on Tuesday morning (see 5/11 story) logged more than 1 million page views and more than 250k streams in less than 48 hours, a library spokeswoman told the L.A. Times’ Randy Lewis yesterday. The site, a joint undertaking of the Library of Congress and Sony Music, has been a hot topic on Twitter, which shows numerous tweets about specific recordings users are flagging to their followers.
