Floyd reissue program

SEVERAL MORE BRICKS IN THE WALL: In January, Pink Floyd signed a new deal with EMI after a protracted legal battle. Now, we’re beginning to hear about the fruits of the renewed partnership between the legendary band and its longtime label. There will be super-deluxe box sets and remasters of all 14 studio albums featuring a number of previously unreleased tracks. In September, the band will release special editions of The Dark Side of the Moon: a two-disc “Experience” version six-disc “Immersion” box-set. This process will be repeated for Wish You Were Here in November and The Wall in February. Additionally, , just in time for the holidays, the band will release the new retrospective A Foot in the Door – The Best of Pink Floyd. Said Roger Faxon, “This is a unique collaboration between EMI and one of the most creative and influential bands in history. We have worked together for more than a year on this program, which incorporates all the elements that have made Pink Floyd one of the most inspiring forces in modern music.” (5/10a)
