Brown apology

CHRIS BROWN MEA CULPA: "First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and was disappointed at my actions," Brown said Wednesday in an interview on BET's 106 & Park, the N.Y. Daily News reports. But the 21-year-old singer said he had to release "the anger that I had inside of me," because he was thrown off by questions regarding his beatdown of Rihanna, which were not part of the "talking points" his camp submitted. "I felt like, 'Okay, they told us this just so they can get us on the show so they can exploit me.' You know, that's what I thought." Meanwhile, GMA host Robin Roberts, who pressed Brown to the breaking point Tuesday morning, said the show has asked him back. By the way, if you’re reading this early, GMA is devoting plenty of airtime to the Brown incident and its aftermath. (3/24a)
