Beatles iTunes Worldwide Sales

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH: The Beatles sold a reported 450k digital albums worldwide and more than 2 million individual song downloads since their iTunes launch last week. As we reported (see Rumor Mill below), the Fab Four moved 310k albums (counting the 16-disc box set) in the U.S. alone, which means nearly 2/3 of all Beatles digital sales were in the Colonies. Abbey Road was the only album to crack HITS’ Top 50 this week. (11/23p)
