New Ting Tings teaser

TING WENT THE STRINGS OF OUR HEARTS: We love The Ting Tings and have been waiting impatiently for some new music from the witty, wicked-cool and strikingly photogenic boy-girl duo. Columbia has just uploaded a 45-second teaser on “We're Not the Same,” a totally rockin’ track from their sophomore album, which is now scheduled for January. The accompanying press release also mentions “a very exciting and highly innovative collaboration,” to be announced later this week. The clip joins the official video of new wave-y cut “Hands,” which the label posted earlier this month. In related news, the premiere of the old-school ABC series No Ordinary Family, which aired last night, featured hook from the duo’s 2008 hit “Shut Up and Let Me Go,” as well as a snippet from the Band of Horses sleeper track “Dilly.” And while we’re on the subject, Katy Perry’s “Peacock” sounds overtly Ting Tings-influenced, doncha think?
