HIGHER EDUCATION: While anticipating next week’s chart debut for Maroon 5’s third studio album, the Mutt Lange-produced Hands All Over, A&M/Octone boss James Diener and his label are the subjects of a Harvard Business School case study by MBA candidates Anita Elberse, Elie Ofek and Caren Kelleher that examines the company’s ultimately successful attempt to sign Paper Tongues (managed by American Idol judge Randy Jackson) to a 360-degree deal.
