With Ellen DeGeneres out and Kara DioGuardi rumored to follow, Steve Tyler and Jessica Simpson are the names being bandied about to join Randy Jackson, though incoming producer Nigel Lythgoe has stated a preference for Paula Abdul, who left the show last year after eight seasons.
