Drexler Joins BMI

DREXLER JOINS BMI: Michael “Clyde the Glide” Drexler is named Sr. Director Business Development in the New Media and Strategic Development Group for BMI by SVP Corporate Strategy, Communications and New Media Richard Conlon. Drexler will manage BMI's efforts to open up new revenue streams for writers and publishers in the digital world, ranging from broadband to mobile. He joins BMI from Sony Music Entertainment, where he held senior management roles in Global Digital Business, evaluating new business opportunities, negotiating content agreements in new digital environments and spending an inordinate amount of time in Farmville.
