Nutini Wins Ivor Novello Honors

PAOLO’S PAYOFF: Atlantic artist Paolo Nutini won the Best Album Award at the 55th Ivor Novello Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London for his latest full-length, Sunny Side Up. Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon presented the award to Nutini. The songwriting awards are judged by songwriters and musicians. Other winners included Lily Allen , Paul Weller, former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, Imogen Heap and Bat for Lashes. Among the previous winners of the Best Album Award are The Ting Tings (2009), Radiohead (2008), Arctic Monkeys (2007) and The Kaiser Chiefs (2006). (6/2p)
