FILTER ROCKETS TO SCIENCE: Platinum rock band Filter will release its much-anticipated fifth studio album, The Trouble with Angels, on Kevin Day’s Rocket Science Ventures through Bob Morelli’s RED Distribution, this August. The Richard Patrick-led outfit’s first single, “The Inevitable Relapse,” is about to go to Active Rock. The signing is the latest in a series of high-profile roster additions to the label, including Chrissie Hynde, Nonpoint and Shooter Jennings, among others. (5/21p)
