Paul exits EMI

MAN ON THE RUN: Paul McCartney has officially parted EMI, handing world-wide distribution rights for his catalog of about 50 post-Beatles albums to Concord. Macca has been out of contract with EMI for newly recorded music since 2007 and released his three most recent albums through other labels, including two on Concord. But in February he regained control of the master recordings he released between 1970’s “bowl of cherries” solo debut and his 2006 classical LP, Ecce Cor Meum, both as a solo artist and with Wings, all of which will be reissued.
