Only one new album entry since our Tuesday snapshot as the five-track ST from Fox’s debuting series Empire (priced at $5.25) replaces Disney’s Into the Woods ST, which drops to #17. J. Cole’s Roc Nation/Columbia album (see item above) cements its status as a legit hit, which is our primary takeaway this morning. Meanwhile, two new singles—from Interscope’s Ellie Goulding and RCA’s Chris Brown-Tyga tandem—crash the star-studded party, topped by Nipper’s dominating “Uptown Funk,” a track everybody seems to adore. Mark Ronson’s Uptown Special drops Tuesday and is initially priced at $7.99.
