The blizzard warning for the city has been changed to a winter storm warning but remains in effect for New England

SNOW DAY 2

An Update on the East Coast Blizzard

Having missed the worst of Winter Storm Juno, NYC resumed public transit this morning, though flights remain grounded. The offices of UMG and other majors are still closed for now. Long Island and other areas are still experiencing huge snowfall as the storm bears down on New England.

Nearly eight inches of snow reportedly fell on Central Park, compared to some two feet in eastern Long Island; the blizzard warning for the city has been changed to a winter storm warning but remains in effect for New England. 70 mph winds and coastal flooding have been noted in parts of Massachusetts. Stay inside, if you can, East Coasters, and stay warm.
