FERNANDEZ NAMED MASON'S SUCCESSOR AT CBS RADIO

New Prexy Most Recently Prez/COO of Journal Communcations

CBS Radio has named Andre J. Fernandez to succeed retiring President/CEO Dan Mason. Fernandez will step in as Prexy, CBS Corporation ruler Les Moonves has announced; he most recently served as President/COO of Journal Communications, overseeing broadcasting and publishing assets.

Fernandez, who also served as CFO from 2008-14, will report to Moonves in NYC and will assume his new post next week.

Moonves praised Fernandez as "a terrific executive" with a "wealth of experience," and hailed the departing Mason as "a legendary leader in the radio business."
