HERMAN GETS COO STRIPES AT CBS RADIO

EVP Programming Oliviero Adds Research Purview; Other Changes Announced by Fernandez

CBS Radio is making a few changes, per a memo from prexy Andre Fernandez. Scott Herman has been bumped up to COO; EVP Programming Chris Oliviero will now also oversee research; Baltimore Market Manager Bob Philips becomes SVP/Director of Sales; and Philly’s Marc Rayfield succeeds Herman as New York market Manager.

President, Sales Michael Weiss is moving on to “other opportunities.”

Said Fernandez, "I believe this new leadership structure and the outstanding group of talented, experienced and respected executives we’ve tapped for key roles positions us well for the future. Combine that with our portfolio of major-market stations that rivals that of any broadcaster, and I think you will agree we’re set up for improved performance and results."
