PLASTIC BONO BAND

A newly light-haired Bono and bandmate The Edge joined the legendary Yoko Ono at the unveiling of the John Lennon Amnesty International Tapestry at the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.

The 24'x10' tapestry's showing marked the 40th anniversary of Lennon receiving his green card. Donald Trump was unable to attend.

The tapestry was commissioned as a token of appreciation for Ono, who has authorized the recording of Lennon songs (by artists such as U2, R.E.M. and Christina Aguilera) to benefit Amnesty.
